"I saw dead women in their houses with their skirts up to their waists and their legs spread apart; dozens of young men shot after being lined up against an alley wall; children with their throats slit, a pregnant woman with her stomach chopped open, her eyes still wide open, her blackened face silently screaming in horror; countless babies and toddlers who had been stabbed or ripped apart and who had been thrown into garbage piles."
-American journalist Janet Lee Stevens wrote to her husband, Dr. Franklin Lamb, documenting the horrors she witnessed at Sabra and Shatila in 1982: the massacre of thousands of Palestinians by Lebanese forces under Israeli control. Source.
Oh, my God. I’m going to be sick.

Egyptians breech wall, break into Israel Embassy in Cairo
A group of about 30 protesters broke into the Israeli Embassy in Cairo Friday and dumped hundreds of documents out of the windows after a day of demonstrations outside the building in which crowds swinging sledge hammers and using their bare hands tore apart the embassy’s security wall.
Hundreds of protesters converged on the embassy throughout the afternoon and into the night, tearing down large sections of the graffiti-covered security wall outside the 21-story building housing the embassy. Egyptian security forces made no attempt for hours to intervene. (source)

Fellow pro-Palestinians; if you post something that is genuinely antisemitic
- I am immediately unfollowing you
- We are not part of the same cause, the very roots of the tragedy that befell the Palestinians was due to ethnic hatred and religious bigotry- if you stoop to that level you are actually working against the Palestinian cause.
- That is all.

"The reason that the Arabs hate Israel is because they are racist. The same racism which caused 9/11 is the same racism which makes them hate Israel. They are racist against Americans and Jews."

Palestinians and Israelis march together || Al Jazeera
Hundreds of Israelis and Palestinians have staged a peaceful march in east Jerusalem to support the Palestinian bid for United Nations recognition.
The marchers on Friday waved Palestinian flags and carried signs reading, “Everyone has the right to an independent state,” “Marching to independence” and “Only free people can negotiate for peace”.
The demonstrators said the UN initiative was an essential step as hopes of negotiations between Israel and the Palestine Authority have dimmed.
“This march has been considered by many as carrying special significance, since it will serve as a litmus test for the extent of popular support among Israelis and Palestinians for the diplomatic efforts for a declaration of independence,” organisers said in a statement.
They marched from the Old City’s Jaffa Gate to the neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah, the site of weekly protests against efforts by Jewish settlers to move into largely Arab neighbourhoods in the city.
Organisers put the numbers at 5,000, while public radio said only 2,000 took part, but police said there were not even 500.

High ResolutionSarajevo is such an interesting city. I really, really want to go. It’s so crazy how it’s been planned by several parties in close juxtaposition, focusing on one area. It has truly evolved over time into a city unlike any other in the world; being a result of constant civil war, strife over different religiously influenced political parties to gain control.

'No dog stoned to death in Jerusalem court'
No stray dog was condemned to death, or stoned by a rabbinical court in Jerusalem, the Beth Din have insisted.
Israeli’s newspaper Maariv reported that a stray dog has wandered into a Beth Din financial court in the strictly Orthodox area of Mea Shearim and refused to be moved, which a judge…

"Every time there is a homicide bombing, innocent Israeli civilians are maimed and killed, thousands more are terrorized, and the Middle East peace process is set back incalculably. There is no moral justification for these acts of terror, and the time has come for the United States to stop rewarding the Palestinian Authority with millions of dollars. Only when the Palestinians put down their guns, set aside their bombs, and renounce violence of all kinds should the United States consider a resumption of aid."
-Anthony Weiner in 2002 renewed his call for an end to U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority, and U.S. assistance programs for the West Bank and Gaza Strip. This is from his website.

Any atom of respect I still had left for this man after Weinergate has dissipated. He’s doing this just to secure himself back in America’s good graces, isn’t he?

Israel closes Gaza crossing
Israeli authorities closed the sole commercial terminal into the Gaza Strip on Wednesday for the second day running, as the Jewish holiday of Shavuot is commemorated in Israel.
Palestinian liaison official Raed Fattouh said he was informed by Israeli counterparts that the terminal, the sole point of entry between Israel and the Gaza Strip and the only crossing with facilities for the transfer of goods, would re-open Thursday.
Jewish holiday = Just another excuse to make Palestinians suffer by yet more entrapment and economic suffocation.
Why?

Former Israeli Minister admits on video that they use the phrase “Anti Semitic” as a trick against anyone who criticizes the US/Israeli policy and if Europeans do they bring up the holocaust as a way to “justify everything we do to the Palestinians”.
Right from the mouth of the former Israeli minister.

searchforfuel replied to your post: I like your blog and I follow it but I’m…I think the question isn’t about palestine or israel (a mistake that *I’ve* made too) but zionism + realistically, issues taking place on both ends. idk thats how I look at it now. also <3
No, you’re right. I’m not really anti-Israel, but I’m completely anti-Zionism and anti-Netanyahu and his minions. And because the innocent civilians of Palestine have fallen victim to the evils of Israel’s corrupt and perverted leaders, I’d rather stand with the country of Palestine. I hope I don’t come off as hating Israel…I realized how much of a misguided sentiment that was after reading this post plus politicaldove’s supporting commentary.
